About Us
From motif to finished piece on your wall.
Picturado is an online atelier for hand-painted oil artworks — no catalog prints, no mass production. We deliberately focus exclusively on classic oil painting, with an emphasis on contemporary styles such as minimalist compositions, abstract works, structured texture painting, and Wabi-Sabi-inspired art. Every piece is hand-painted with high-quality oil paints on real canvas — we deliberately do not offer prints or reproductions. By working directly with the artists and avoiding galleries and middlemen, our prices stay fair and transparent.
The Making of the Motif
It all begins with the right motif. Our collections are created with an eye for composition, color palette and effect in the room, before a single piece goes into production.
Made Especially for You
No stock, no mass production: production of your piece only begins once your order arrives. That takes time — typically approx. 21 business days until delivery — but every piece is created just for you.
We work with DPD, GLS and DHL, choosing the most reliable route to you for each delivery area.
Straight From the Atelier to You
Picturado works with a network of experienced oil painters who specialize in contemporary styles — from minimalist compositions to abstract works to structured texture paintings and Wabi-Sabi-inspired art. Every piece is created in direct collaboration with the artists, without middlemen or gallery markups — which benefits you in both quality and price.
